Sal and Heather Sanchez have been serving as missionaries in different countries around the world for over ten years. They founded a non-profit called Borderlands International in order to help support the grassroots mission movement among believers. Their goal is to help disciple and enable missionaries to spread the gospel to hard to reach places and people groups around the globe. Together with their three daughters (Mila, Talia, and Hadessah) they have worked in Mexico, Central and South America, Africa and war-torn parts of Europe. They are passionate about going where others are unwilling to go to reach those in need of Christ’s love, healing and redemption. The Sanchez family attends CLG when they are in town and we have the privilege of encouraging them through friendship, prayer, and financial support. They are currently taking a year sabbatical in the States to dedicate time to very intentional mental, emotional and spiritual healing and strengthening necessary to return to missions as a healthy, properly functioning and effective missionary family. Mila is currently training with a Christian global first responder organization, Chazak Rescue.
